Revitalization Full of Life

On the site of the former Transgas complex, a modern mixed-use development is emerging under the guidance of Jakub Cigler Architekti, reestablishing a clear urban structure and a lively city character for this part of Prague. The project naturally fits into the block development of Vinohrady and creates a balanced setting for offices, retail, and residential use. Office spaces face toward the busy Vinohradská Street, while the residential areas are positioned along the quieter Římská and Rubešova streets. The ground floor is designed as a vibrant retail zone with shops, cafés, and services that support daily activity and a consistent flow of people.

A landscaped inner atrium with relaxation areas connects the project's various functions and offers a high-quality setting for work, meetings, and short breaks during the day. The blend of offices, retail, and residential spaces creates a sustainable urban mix that keeps the area active throughout the day.

Designed for Work, Connection, and Calm

A key element of the Vinohradská 8 concept is its active ground floor and the office building directly facing Vinohradská Street. The ten-storey office component benefits from strong visibility, a central location and direct connection to the city’s daily activity. The ground floor is designed for cafés, restaurants and retail units that support the everyday operation of the offices and contribute to a lively urban environment. A landscaped inner atrium with quiet zones provides a counterbalance to the busy street and offers space for informal meetings and short breaks during the working day. The integration of offices, retail, and public space creates a functional, long-term, and attractive working environment.
